Summer of 2020 is here and so is FabFitFun summer box. It’s not my first box from them, but each one is still very exciting. Subscription boxes are my addiction and it all started with FabFitFun. In my opinion, that’s not a bad addiction to have, but my husband might disagree.
I have stacks of boxes everywhere and I love it. While I enjoy a nice subscription beauty box anytime of the year, it’s absolutely spectacular to get one in the summer of Covid-19. Yes, our lives are altered by masks, increasing numbers of cases, social distancing orders, and cancelled vacations, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy deliveries even without shopping. This is exactly what FabFitFun is – a box curated by experts in fashion, fitness, home décor, beauty, and makeup industries.
There is no way I could ever find all these products for under $50 even if I tried. I always grab the first thing I see in Sephora or don’t use anything at all rather than spend time and money shopping. With FabFitFun I have all kinds of products brought right to me without my involvement – so much so that my friends will soon regard me as a self-care expert.
- 20% Off first Box with code LONGORIA
- $10 Off Seasonal Box when use code FURTADO10
I always order seasonal box and get charged $49.95 each time. This is convenient for me and I can stop at any time. Since I have no plans to stop, I might switch to an annual subscription and save some money that way.
This is what I received in my summer box:
First, the magazine with useful info about products, inspiring stories, a look ahead, and ideas about how to use the things I got. Then coupons – 20% off kitchen essentials from Our Place and $50 credit for Bright Cellars. Cooking with new gadgets while drinking wine during this corona-time summer sounds good to me!
Business & Pleasure Co. Cooler Bag – $59
This bag is simply perfection for the beach. Since beach is not really happening this summer, I’ll be taking it to friend’s houses filled with cold snacks, bottles, and watermelon.
I will also take it along for hiking trips that are planned, to the family lake trips, and finally to our pool to keep stuff nice and cold.
Terre Mere Aloe and Tea Tree Toner – $54
This toner smells heavenly and really works for my skin. The bottle looks luxurious too, which I would expect from something that costs $50. Aloe and tea tree make perfect combination of scent and healing power to keep my face clear and youthful this summer.
Yumi Kim Wireless ChargingPad – $35
This charging pad looks really stylish with little flowers and pinkish background, but unfortunately for me I have a phone that’s too old for it, so it doesn’t work. However, my plan is to get the next iPhone when it comes out this fall, which means that I will be able to use this pad. Yey!
The Lyfestyle Co. Beach Mist – $42
You can spritz this refreshing mist all over your skin. Summer is notorious for making skin clammy and tired, but this mist can help when shower is not possible. Just a few spritzes will make you feel better and cooler. It smells like lavender, aloe, and mint.
Coola Mineral Face Organic Matte Finish Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 – $36
This tube is not huge, unfortunately, but I love what I see. It’s 70%+ organic – finally something organic from FabFitFun! The sunscreen doesn’t have strong smell, gets absorbed right away and leaves no shine, since it is, you know, matte. I love it!
MakeupDrop Hybrid Makeup Applicator – $20
I don’t use makeup very often, especially during corona, but when I do next time, I am going to use this applicator.
It’s so cute that I just want to eat it, which wouldn’t be very smart. It is latex-free and does blend makeup flawlessly.
Cali Cosmetics Foot Cream with Menthol in Tarocco – $24
I need foot cream every night after I spend my days walking bare feet in and out of the pool and all over the backyard. I have been using body lotion before bed, but now I am very happy to report that my feet love this cream with menthol smell and olive oil feel.
Riddle Oil Original Roll On – $50
It’s hard to believe that this little roll on perfume is $50, but I can also see why it would be. It is very gentle and is meant to mix with your natural body scent to create a unique combination. After using all those wonderful products I smell like a walking beauty and skin care store, and it’s a lot more pleasant than some kind of sweaty mess.
Total value of all 8 items is $320 and that makes me more than satisfied after paying just $49 for it. Sure, phone charging pad might be not usable for me now, but it will be in a few months. Thank you, FabFitFun, again, and not only for the products, but for the sheer pleasure of opening this box!
