Nutrisystem Snacks: What I Can't Eat

After following Nutrisystem meal plan for a week I came up with my own list of Nutrisystem popular products that I won’t eat even with a coupon. Here is what I will never eat even if you pay me:

Nutrisystem Double Chocolate Muffin

Many people rave about Nutrisystem muffins, but Nutrisystem Double Chocolate Muffin was a mere disappointment. It was dry and sticky inside and the pastry just clung to your teeth, so you feel like using the mouthwash after eating it. Probably it has something to do with the ingredients, such as leavening and emulsifying blend with propylene glycol, mono- and diesters of fat and fatty acids, as well as mono-and diglycerides in it.

I was considering purchasing Nutrisystem 28-day lunch sampler, but luckily I didn’t. Eating Nutrisystem lunch meals for a week was too much for me. In fact, their lunch meals taste awful, look disgusting and smell weird. When you look at the list of ingredients, they seem to be fine, but how they work together is not something you would expect from natural well-balanced meals, and even natural flavors and extracts fail to improve the situation.

Nutrisystem Loaded Mashed Potato

It was neither tasty nor nourishing and half an hour after eating it for lunch I felt hungry as a wolf. When you buy products, you expect to enjoy the food, but in case of this lunch meal it is just about eating at least something. If you have no access to any other food. it’s ok, but with such as abundance of healthy and affordable food options there is no point spending money on this. Home cooked mashed potato tastes much better and will probably cost cheaper. For me personally this product is just a money waster.

Nutrisystem Mac&Cheese with Turkey Sauce

It would seem impossible to spoil that classy all-time favorite dish, but Nutrisystem managed to do it. Even being enriched with folic acid, riboflavin and ferrous sulfate it still tastes awful. Probably because of those artificial vitamins and minerals it is loaded with. But why not make a product that will be equally healthy and delcicious?

In general, I can say that I was not impressed by the quality and taste of Nutrisystem lunch and dinner meals. But I can’t say that about their breakfast and snacks. Nutrisystem snack bars are some of the best in terms of ingredients and taste, their cereal and cinnamon muffins are also very good. There are just some of the products that are not for me, but that’s my personal opinion. You know, tastes differ.
