My Causebox Summer 2021 Box Review

Causebox Alltrue Summer 2021 Box

Causebox is always a welcome guest in my house. This time it arrived right before our long awaited European trip and a couple of items were very useful for traveling. I also enjoyed getting my seasonal boxes all through the pandemic when shopping in person was not that desirable.

After being a faithful customer for almost two years, I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about Causebox and have a pretty good feeling about what kinds of items arrive for every season. Each box will always have some fashion item, a few products for skin care and beauty, something reusable for storage, and always a cute product for home.

Alltrue Summer 2021 Box

I don’t mind shelling out around $50 per box each season, because the value of what I get far exceeds that and includes shipping. I get all sorts of products, made with humanity and environment in mind, right to my door without doing any research and shopping, so what’s not to love?

While I also like FabFitFun, Causebox holds a special place too because of their philosophy and support for companies and artists that employ people from third world countries, use sustainably grown materials, or are run by minorities.

Let’s take a look at what I received this time:

Thread & Supply Cozy Cloud Wrap – $115

Cozy Cloud Wrap

I was blown away after learning that this cashmere-like soft wrap is made from recycled polyester. It’s super soft and cute, which is why I’ll be taking it on the trip with me. Close to 5 million plastic bottles were diverted from landfills to make those wraps, and if that doesn’t make you feel good, I don’t know what does!

Causebox Cashmere-like Soft Wrap

This cloud-like creation is going to be perfect for everything, from plane chills to sunsets in Greece overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Boon Supply Reusable Zip Pouches – $22

Causebox Zip Pouches

I use zip lock bags for my kids’ snacks for school all the time and each time I feel bad about doing it. I try to recycle those little bags, but kids sometimes throw them away before they get home. I will be using these pouches come school again and will finally feel good about it, because each pouch replaces 300 single use bags. And there is even more – 40% of every Boon Supply order gets donated to a charity of your choice.

SKIN&CO Roma Truffle Therapy Face Toner – $30

Causebox SKIN&CO Face Toner

This is not your average toner – it’s made with witch hazel, truffles, and rosemary and not only revitalizes your skin, but makes it bacteria-free. It doesn’t have a strong odor and is all natural. The extracts come from Cambria, Italy, which alone sounds absolutely rejuvenating. The product is vegan and cruelty-free.

True Moringa Rejuvenating Body Polish – $34

Causebox Rejuvenating Body Polish

I am used to face scrubs, so getting whole body scrub was definitely refreshing. It’s gentle, but gets work done with coffee grounds and moringa oil. The grounds exfoliate and tighten the skin, while moringa oil stops the signs of aging. I’m taking this polish with me on my trip, because of its convenient packaging.

True Moringa works with over 5,000 small farms and has helped plant over 2 million trees so far. I personally adore companies like that and am very proud to support them.

ettitude Travel Beauty Pillowcase – $25

Travel Beauty Pillowcase

This pillow case will definitely be used by me, but not while traveling. And this is because I am not picky about pillows at all – I am totally fine with little flimsy pillows they give on the flights.

The attitude pillow case is lovely greyish color and made from 100% bamboo that feels like silk. It is luxurious and sophisticated, but understated at the same time. Bamboo is probably the most sustainable plant ever and so are those pillow cases. And on top of that, the water used for making these pillow cases runs in a closed loop system, making them even more sustainable.

Causebox Free Yearly Membership

As always, Causebox brings an invitation for a friend to join the subscription service. This time I also got an invitation to share my photos on social media, tag Causebox, and be entered for a chance to win a free yearly membership. Free sure sounds good, but I am very happy paying for all the wonderful things I get to enjoy while supporting socially and environmentally responsible companies and people.
