What is Macy’s Beauty Box?
This box is a monthly subscription that includes 5 luxury product samples, a surprise item, and a nice cosmetics bag or brush/roll that is fit for a collection. $10 coupon for beauty purchases is also included in every box. The coupon is good for shopping in-store or online.
The box costs $15 per month and this price includes shipping. Each box also features a card with a thorough description of all items included.
For the sake of this review we have ordered one Beauty Box and here is what we have found inside:
What came in the box?
As mentioned above, the box includes a very detailed list of items that came and their descriptions. That folded list also included the $10 coupon. The first page of the booklet had pictures of all 5 samples and the bonus item. The second page pointed to the theme of the box, which was summer and stated the value of the box – over $40.
Each product description had its name, a short description, and pro tips about how to use it. Every item also had a price of the full size container and web ID for ordering them online.
What products did this box include?
- High Potency Classics Face Finishing & Firming Moisturizer (0.25 fl oz)
The moisturizer from Perricone MD is super fine and high quality. It smells like roses and is uber-hydrating. Your skin will feel immediate relief and visibly tighten after a few uses. It works for all skin types and can even help with sagging. It should really work given its full price of $108 for 4 fl oz.
- Wanted Girl Eau de Parfum Spray (0.03 fl oz)
The perfume is exclusive to Macy’s, so you won’t be able to get it anywhere else. This scent is somewhere between girly and femme fatale, encasing ethereal beauty and careless charm. It can easily be worn on a sunny beach and just as well at a party fit for James Bond. All of this concoction is sealed in a beautiful bottle shaped like flower and costing a cool $105 for 2.7 fl oz.
- Men’s Wanted Eau de Toilette Spray (0.03 fl oz)
This scent is ready made to match the one for ladies and is equally good. It’s bold, powerful, masculine, but also tender and hard to resist. You will feel a bit of citrus, wood, and spice with undertones of cardamom and tonka bean for life well lived. Full size price – $89 (3.4 fl oz)

This pencil is nude and matte, but not drying. It is also all-in one, so you can have many purposes for this one little product. The pencil is waterproof, so you can sip on and kiss for 6 hours. And did we say that looks totally hip too? It costs $26 in case you will need a few other shades.

All in all, we were impressed with the quality and diversity of sample items and the packaging. We definitely felt that this $40 value is worth the $15 per month fee. We especially loved the Lip and Cheek pencil, Perricone MD moisturizer, and Clinique makeup remover and will consider getting them in full size.
