While ordering my first box from Butcher Box I also used another coupon that gave me $15 off and got free shipping. In total I paid $134, which is not bad for such quality meat.
After ordering my Butcher Box came in a couple of days and everything inside was nicely insulated and cold. I ordered chicken thighs, salmon, and whole chicken and also got free ground beef and two packages of bacon. This made for many nice dinners that my family enjoyed.
All the meat was packaged in vacuum packages and had all nutritional information and safe handling instructions on each. Chicken was free range and organic. Each package contained three thighs. Salmon filets were also each packed separately, wild net caught in Bristol Bay, Alaska, fresh frozen, and even had catch area 67 stated on the packages. Ground beef was 85% lean, 15%, grass-fed, organic, and raised without antibiotics or growth hormones. The bacon that I received was Applewood smoked, uncured, organic, and came from heritage breed pigs.
I was very happy with my choices. While our family mostly eats chicken and fish, beef that is this pure will be a big hit!
