Veteran's Day Deals and Sales

This year Veterans Day falls on November 11^th and even if this is pretty close to Black Friday and all the shopping mayhem, retailers take every opportunity to rake in sales and this day is no exception.

The biggest discounts are, of course, to all active and retired military personnel, first responders, and their family members, but it’s worth noting that there are plenty of discounts for the rest of us too.

This long weekend sale provides an excellent opportunity to find great deals ahead of Black Friday crowds and shop in peace. Even with that, fellow veterans and active members will have to deal with early Christmas shoppers as retailers keep offering those deals earlier each year.

There are a few tricks to a successful Veteran’s Day shopping. This year Super Saturday is on the Veteran’s Day, so you will be able to enjoy plenty of savings opportunities and knock a few things out of your holiday shopping list with additional veteran’s discounts.

If you go to Walmart, Target, Sears, and Macy’s, look out for the best deals on toys, kids apparel, gift sets on winter accessories, homewear and other gear.

You can expect to see some holiday deals on electronics, TVs, and computers at Walmart.

Best Buy and PC Richard’s, which will be great savings when combined with military discounts.

Many dealerships are going to be offering amazing deals on new and used cars in anticipation of new vehicle crop for 2020.

Some of the most common discounts on Veteran’s Day are special offers from many restaurants. Think Applebee’s, Olive Garden, and Fridays. Many retailers and various services offer great sales too to show their appreciation.

When shopping, don’t forget to compare prices, especially with upcoming Black Friday ads. Sometimes it pays to wait a little, especially on clothing & shoes for the entire family.
