What is B&H?

This is a special financial help program for university, college, and high school students and educators  for receiving special pricing through free EDU Advantage membership.

How does EDU Advantage work?

This free program has three-step online registration process for 12-month membership status. Once approved, students and faculty will enjoy discounted prices on thousands of products, communication with professionals about those products, they will be able to use the EDU Advantage website, take advantage of free shipping, and get free annual Student Buyer’s Guide.

Who is eligible for this program?

All applicants must be college level US-based school students or educators in the fields of photography, videography, film, animation, graphic design, audio, or new media. Some high school educators are also eligible, depending on their programs.

They have to have valid school ID, a copy of current curriculum or transcript, and a US shipping address to be eligible.

What is the application process?

All applicants must fill out the B&H EDU Advantage Registration form and submit copies of their ID and class schedule. They can start shopping as soon as they are approved, which usually happens in 48 hours. The answer and the EDU account number will come via email upon approval.

Why is this program so beneficial for students and educators?

Students and educators can create and shop Class Supply lists with discounts directly on B&H EDU website, where they can find close to 200,000 products and staff that is ready to answer any questions they might have. How can the account be updated?

This process is very easy. All you have to do is go to “My Account” at the top of the website and access the information for updates. You can check your account status here too.

Can customers buy in bulk?

Yes, they can buy in bulk if they go to the Government, Education, and Corporation Section.

Can items be moved from one Class Supply list to another?

Yes, those lists work the same way as wish lists and thus items can be moved by selecting them and choosing the move function. Items can also be deleted, but once deleted the action is not reversible. To delete one item, you can click on a trash can icon right under it. To delete multiple items, you can select them all and then click trash icon on the top of the page.

How do Reward Points work?

When your application is approved and you create your B&H account, you automatically become enrolled into the rewards program and start earning back a percentage on products you buy. Every time you qualify, you will get a unique 16-digit number to be used to claim your rewards.

Once you receive that number, you have to be logged into your account and enter this number during the checkout. Keep in mind that rewards points expire in 6 months. Not all items earn those points.

What is B&H Payboo Credit Card?

This card is issued by Synchrony Bank and offers B&H customers credit limit for shopping online or in-store. Credit score is checked for approval purposes. This credit card can be used only to shop at B&H and to pay at B&H B2B and EDU portals.

How do the Payboo Card benefits really work?

When you pay for merchandise with this card, your balance will be applied and the instant reward will also be reflected at the checkout under “Payboo Card Savings”. You will be paying taxes while using this card, so you don’t need to file anything extra. There is no limit for Payboo Card savings.

How do I know how much will I save using this card?

You can always find out your savings with “Check Savings” tab on Payboo Card website by entering your zip code.

What kind of interest rate will I be charged?

If you don’t pay off your credit card balance at the end of the month, you will have 29.9% APR and your minimum interest charge will be $2.

When are my credit card payments due?

The payments are due 23 days after the end of each billing cycle, so make sure you pay it off and avoid interest charges.

Who can apply for B&H Payboo Card?

All US-based customers with a shipping address and a valid SSN/ITIN can apply. All applicants will have to be approved. International orders can be made, but there will be no savings on internationally shipped items.

Is Payboo Credit Card the same as B&H financing credit card?

No, those two cards are different and offer different savings. The benefits can’t be transferred from one card to another. Both cards will have separate credit checks upon application. Credit check will be done by Synchrony Bank again if you decide to request a credit line increase. TransUnion and Experian are usually used for credit history checks.

How can I apply for a B&H Payboo Credit Card?

The application can be submitted online. Upon approval you will get a confirmation number and screen with your account information. The card will arrive in the mail in a few days.

If something is missing and the account is pending, you will see a phone number to call with additional details.

If declined, you will see a confirmation screen with the intent to decline and will also get a written notice in the mail explaining the reasons.

Can I place an order with the Payboo account if I don’t have the physical card?

Yes, you can save your card to your B&H account Payment Options. If you can’t save it there, you can always call customer service to look up your account number and place the order online.
